Half Fold Invitations & Cards (Found through-out Moms Break printables directory and our other sites.)

While Moms Break calls our half fold free printables - “invitation” it can also be used as a card, announcement, thank you note, stationery, etc. How you use this all depends on what type of text you add to this free printable. Moms Break wants to give you the freedom to use any text you want by adding a text box to type in instead of filling in pre-made blanks. This allows you to show off your own style! These half fold invitations can be found throughout our web site.

After typing your text in the text area or copying text from a rich text editor (MS Word), print then fold the invitation in half. These fit in a 6 x 9 envelope. This is a two sided, half fold printable. To handwrite, print then handwrite after printing.

*** Personalizing Tips: You can type your text using Microsoft Word, or other word processing software (rich text editor), along with setting font type, size, and color, and then copy and paste the text from the word processor into the personalization area of the free printable. This lets you control the look of your text.

* Two Sided Printing. This means the first page of the free printable is the inside of the printable and the second page is the outside of the printable. There is a helpful How To Article for both double sided (two sided) printers and single side printers available at Printer Two Sided, which will open in a new window so you do not leave this printable. While we will refer to this as an invitation, remember it is all up to you how you use this!

Ideas for our Invitation (or cards) Crafting:

Use a hole-punch around the edges of invitation then thread colorful ribbon or yarn in and out of the holes. Tie ribbon or yarn in a bow after threading the holes to add a creative touch.

Use decorative-edge scissors to cut out the invitation to give the invitation a fancy edge.

Sprinkle around the invitation with glitter glue to add some color and sparkle to your invitation.

Print the invitation on embellished craft paper if your printer will handle this type of paper (most do as long as the embellished craft paper is printer-friendly).

After folding the invitation, tie it closed with a ribbon making a bow on the front or top.

Use a hole-punch make a hole in corner of the invitation, then using a ribbon make a bow or hanging ribbon for decorative invitation.

Decorate the invitation with scrapbook embellishments or stickers.

Bag Making Instructions: (Found through-out Moms Break printables directory and our other sites.)

To make our free printable bags; basically do this: Fold in half on fold line, fold sides in toward the “© Moms Break” on the marked lines, tape side shut, fill, fold top down and tape closed. This bag is very simple to make, however we do recommend reading the more detailed directions shown below.

These are more detailed step-by-step instructions:

1. Fold bag on the line marked number 1. Note that the bag might not fold exactly in the middle of the page depending on printer setting; however it is recommended that you use the fold line.
2. Lay the bag so that “© by MomsBreak.com or licensors. Terms see MomsBreakInc.com” is face up.
3. Fold the two lines marked number 2 inward. Tape or glue these side tabs.
4. Fill the bag with your bag fillers (i.e., candy, party favors, gift card, etc.).
5. Fold down remaining top flap (marked number 3) to close the bag. Tape or glue closed. Note that you may have to fold over the ends of both sides of the bag, depending on how the bag prints on your printer. Tape or glue the folded-over flap to close the bag.

Special Notes:
* Remember when using glue to allow the glue time to dry between steps.
* Printer types and settings do vary. These instructions should provide enough information for folding and closing the bag. However, it always best to do one test print and fold before printing several bags.

You can find a tutor for folding this bag at Jan’s Reading Room bag tutor which is valentine but the same principle applies. There is also how to fold video tutor offer by Moms Break, this is a holiday tutor but the same principle applies.

Maze Game Idea: (Found through-out Moms Break printables directory and our other sites.)

The one who finishes the maze first wins the game. This can also be played in teams to help get the conversation going. Be sure to have pens or pencils for the guests when playing the maze game.

Iron-on Transfers: (Found through-out Moms Break printables directory and our other sites

This iron-on transfer designs are created to use as a free printable iron-on transfer to make a shirt, but can also be used for crafting projects.

When using to make a shirt:

1. This is designed with a white shirt in mind, so colors of the transfer may vary when being ironed onto a colored shirt. The type of iron-on transfer paper you use can also affect the color.

2. This image is not reversed so if your iron-on transfer paper instructs you to reverse (mirror) the image before printing, then you will need to pick that setting from your printer options. *** Important! Although most new types of iron-on transfer paper do not require reversing (mirroring), you do need to follow the directions included with the iron-on transfer paper you choose for make.

3. For iron-on transfers that are being put on dark shirts, look for iron-on transfer paper that is for “dark fabric.” You should be able to get this type of iron-on transfer paper wherever transfer paper is sold.

4. When washing any shirt that has an iron-on transfer, it is recommended that you turn the shirt inside out (to prevent the transfer from rubbing on other clothing). It is also recommended that you hang up the shirt to dry, do not put in the dryer.

5. For crafting projects that do not include iron-on transfers, print the design as you would any other free printable.
